(January 9, 2017) – Active Interest Media (aimmedia.com) today announced the promotion of Andy Hawk to Managing Director of AIM’s Mountain Group.
Expanding on his role as Managing Director for Warren Miller Entertainment, Hawk will now oversee AIM’s full portfolio of Mountain Group properties, including SKI magazine, Warren Miller Entertainment and Custom Production and the SIA Snow Show Daily. “Under Hawk’s leadership, Warren Miller has emerged as one of AIM’s best-performing brands this year,” says Andrew Clurman, AIM’s President and Chief Executive Officer. “Hawk has demonstrated great leadership of the Warren Miller team, and his compelling ideas to innovate and grow the entire Mountain Group make him the ideal person to lead AIM’s Mountain brands.”

In addition to these marquee brands, the Mountain Group offers online courses as part of AIM’s Adventure University and partners with key snowsports industry clients to provide strategic marketing solutions through AIM’s marketing services division, Catapult Creative Labs.

He began his career as SKI’s marketing intern in 2001, before becoming an advertising sales rep. He later served as publisher of Ski Racing magazine and then as marketing director for the Professional Ski Instructors of America and the American Association of Snowboard Instructors.
